Our Ethos
Our tutors follow the Waldorf curriculum which is enriched through a focus on social and emotional learning, the natural world and incorporating seasonal and cultural celebrations.
All tutors hold a Certificate in Steiner Education, or an equivalent teaching qualification, and are DBS checked.
Our children gain practical experience through study which is relevant, purposeful, and unique to their interests. With the overall aim of nurturing the development of children to become free thinking adults.
Health & Safety
At Green Oaks, the health and safety of our students is our top priority. We have implemented rigorous measures to ensure that our learning spaces are clean and hygienic. Our tutors are trained in First Aid and CPR and we have emergency procedures in place to handle any situation. We also have strict policies in place to ensure that our students are safe and secure while in our care.
Practicalities
Parents share the cost of paying for tutors, materials, venue hire, and contribute with community involvement, and general care and support.
